The event will create safe, supportive spaces where participants can openly discuss stressors such as trauma, violence exposure, family separation, and systemic inequities. Through guided dialogue and reflective activities, participants will increase awareness of mental health, learn to recognize early warning signs of emotional distress, and reduce stigma associated with seeking support. By encouraging participants to share lived experiences, the workshop will validate individual and collective mental health challenges while fostering peer support and connection. Community members will work together to identify barriers to accessing mental health services. A mental health resource fair will also be accessible.
