The Get Lit Players, our award-winning teen spoken-word performance troupe, will present an interactive and inspiring one-hour Take Action LA “Blitz” assembly at Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, focused on the topic of mental health.

This engaging show will feature multilingual classic and original poetry, music, and movement in solo and complex group pieces that reflect L.A.'s diverse cultures and explore themes important and relevant to youth such as mental health, rising from personal or community trauma, racism, sexism, and homophobia. Get Lit will staff an information table providing information on local mental health resources.
