In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the California Black Women's Health Project is hosting a free community walk and family field day to promote healthy lifestyles through physical movement, mental health awareness, and community connection. The event includes an educational overview of mental health followed by a mindfulness grounding practice and a guided stretch/warm-up. This event will also include elements of restoration such as soulful music, a sound bath, resource sharing from community based organizations, and mental health screenings.
