Family Wellness Day will offer parent and child safety classes that will focus on strengthening families, enhancing child wellbeing, and fostering safer, more resilient communities. By educating parents and children on safety practices, healthy communication, and conflict resolution, the program addresses underlying social challenges such as family stress, intergenerational trauma, and exposure to unsafe environments. Politically and institutionally, the program supports system change by equipping families to engage with schools, social services, and local policymakers to advocate for improved protections, resources, and responsive practices.
