Centered on the act of telling our stories across distance and time, this virtual gathering brings together Iranian filmmakers and storytellers from across the globe. Through curated film clips and moderated live dialogue, the program explores memory and creativity across generations.

The conversation looks at the emotional impact of political conflict and the loss of social and cultural connections in the Iranian community. We will discuss how artistic expression can support mental health and emotional wellbeing by helping individuals and communities process difficulties, sustain connection, and preserve cultural memory.

Designed to reach community members who cannot attend the in-person event, the virtual program creates an accessible space for reflection and connection. The event will include on-screen bilingual (Farsi–English) mental-health resources and referral information, encouraging a stigma-free approach to seeking culturally responsive support.
