In collaboration with the City of Azusa, this in-person family friendly mental wellness event includes mental health professionals, wellness practitioners, and local community partners. Activities include mental wellness workshops, practitioner demonstrations such as art therapy, movement therapy, group singing, and group games. Information booths and children-friendly “fun” booths will provide resources and additional engagement in English, Chinese, and Spanish. The event will increase awareness, access, and utilization of mental health resources; promote key concepts to mental health treatment/recovery; and cultivate social connectedness among participants.
